La Chiesa, dedicata a San Pellegrino, venne edificata agli inizi del 1700 al posto di un’antica cappellina. Al suo interno troviamo l’altare maggiore, decorato con colonne in breccia di Stazzema e datato 1647, sormontato da una Pala d’Altare opera di Riccardo Tommasi Ferroni e, alla sua sinistra, un altare dedicato alla Madonna del Buon Consiglio, donato nel 1844 dalla fiorentina Teresa Gyer, come risulta da un’epigrafe in latino posta sulla fiancata. Nelle due lunette ai lati del portone sono poste due statue, entrambe opere dello scultore Leone Tommasi: quella a destra raffigura San Pellegrino, quella a sinistra la Madonna del Buon Consiglio. Sul portale della Chiesa si trova una lapide che attesta che lo scultore Stagio Stagi nacque a Minazzana. La Chiesa venne elevata a parrocchia nel 1950.
English Version
The Church, dedicated to Saint Pellegrino, was built at the beginning of the 1700s where there was an old chapel. Inside the Church we can see the high altar decorated with columns made of brecce of Stazzema (a kind of marble), dated back to 1647. It is overlapped by a Riccardo Tommasi Ferroni altarpiece and on its left there is an altar dedicated to the Madonna del Buon Consiglio, which was donated in 1844 by Teresa Gyer, as written on the latin epigraph which is on one side of the church. There are two lunettes on either side of the door which contain two statues made by Leone Tommasi: the one on the right represents Saint Pellegrino and the other one on the left represents the Madonna del Buon Consiglio. On the portal of the church there is a gravestone which certifies that the sculptor Stagio Stagi was born in Minazzana. The church became a parish in 1950.
